Graham Hodgson

Managing Director / Lead Artist

Graham is a degree qualified artist, illustrator and tutor with over 20 years experience as a commercial artist.

After gaining BA(Hons) Illustration, Art & Design and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education he subsequently spent 3 years supply teaching around the North East in schools, colleges and universities.

Graham is a professional member of the Association of Archaeological Illustrators and Surveyors and a trained Arts Award Adviser for Arts Council England.

Anne Hodgson

Creative Development Manager

Anne's qualifications and experience include youth work, mentoring, counselling and adult education.

She spent 17 years in local government, all in positions where public relations were paramount. She spent 4 years as coordinator of a mentoring project for the Youth Offending Service, and then more recently she worked for 3 years as Youth Arts Officer for South Tyneside Council.

Her expertise lies in communication skills and organisational abilities, administration, project management, human resources and financial management. Her creative interests lie primarily in photography and performing arts.

Pam has been a member of the Hawthorn Arts team since the very beginning. She is our resident expert on card making and scrapbooking.

Anne-Marie is invaluable when it comes to all the work behind the scenes such as admin and ICT, but she has a distinctive creative streak as well.
